Mark's passion is working with customer organisations to identify the core business needs for a facility and leading design teams to turn them into reality. He enjoys the challenge of securing support from multiple stakeholders and ensuring that executive management receive superior service and reporting. As a Senior Project Manager the nature of the service ranges from reports and strategic plans to participation or leadership for major project teams. The overseeing of Project Managers managing the project delivery to achieve the preset outcomes is an essential component of this service.

Mark established his own consultancy 10 years ago following an 18 year career with the Lend Lease Property Group in Australia and New Zealand. He started his career with a degree in engineering (structural) followed by a post graduate diploma in business. After 3 years as a structural engineer he found the need to move where he could add further value to property projects and shifted to Australia to become a project manager. He moved back to New Zealand 5 years later and for a further 13 years held senior positions in both line management and in project teams for a wide range of challenging projects focussing more and more on the early phases of the development process.

As a professional Mark has served the property industry with a long stretch on the Auckland Branch Committee of the Property Institute of New Zealand and later on the Board of Directors for 4 years. In 1999 he was invited by the University of Auckland to develop the curriculum for the Bachelor of Property 3rd year paper Property Development and has since completed his 9th year as senior lecturer part time teaching this. The discipline of this ensures that he remains at the leading edge of the profession.
